This powerful versatile Class IV laser has been introduced at Renatus Clinic as it can provide multiple treatment options for a variety of skin conditions and issues.
With three wavelengths: blue 455nm, red 660nm and NIR 970nm it has the ability to perform treatment without bleeding, minimising infection and resulting in a faster healing time. Treatments can also provide superficial and deep biostimulation of tissues to optimise healing for the client.
K Laser therapy improves tissue oxygenation and ATP synthesis activating a cascade of photo-chemical reactions that stimulates the regenerative process and speeds up healing. It improves blood circulation and promotes angiogenesis, optimises tissue nutrition and boosts lymphatic drainage. K Laser therapy can reduce inflammation and free radical activity, calming the skin.
The Fractional Skin Resurfacing uses light energy on the skin to target water in the tissues and convert it into a controlled heat. Thousands of microscopic treatment columns are created, but compared to ablative laser treatments only a fraction of the skin is treated leaving the surrounding tissue intact. This allows for a faster recovery and less downtime, the process triggers
- fibroblast activation (repair cells)
- release of growth factors
- increased collagen and elastin production
- dermal remodelling and resurfacing occur gradually
- texture, scars, fine lines and pigmentation improve over time
K Laser allows the safe treatment of
- solar lentigines
- seborrheic keratosis
- skin tags
- cherry angiomas
- thread veins
Skin conditions such as Acne, Rosacea and Acne Scarring can be improved with combination therapies using the different lights to kill bacteria and reduce inflammation in the skin.
It has been an exciting time introducing this into my daily practice and clients are getting some lovely results from the different treatments. Recommendatoins can be made in your skin consultation as to which treatment would be most beneficial to you.
