Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a technique that involves micro-injections of therapeutic substances such as vitamins, minerals, hyaluronic acid and amino acids into the epidermis. These essential ingredients then come into direct contact with the dermal fibroblast cells, also giving a beneficial effect on the metabolic processes. Giving the skin a healthy environment is it more likely to repair, renew and regenerate, improving the pathway of communication from cell to cell.

There are different visual factors of skin ageing including:

  • Dryness
  • Laxity
  • Surface Irregularity
  • Colour
  • Skin Discolouration
  • Wrinkles of different density

These can be addressed with Mesotherapy or Biorevitalisation as it is also known.

The skin will be rejuvenated, helping to give a glow to the skin, it will balance sebum and moisture levels, improve skin tone, complexion and radiance and encourage fibroblast proliferation to stimulate collagen.

The CE sterile certified products can be used on their own or in conjunction with medical micro needling treatments to get the ingredients into the superficial layers of the skin.
They can be used to specifically target area such as the periocular, the area around the eyes to help with darkness, hydration, skin elasticity. Or certain solutions can be used to help to plump out lines around the mouth; nasa labial folds, or the glabella; between the eyebrows, or the neck lines. These are not fillers; they are Skin Boosters and are adding super hydration to the lines to plump them.

A full consultation will assess suitability for treatment and your aesthetic practitioner will listen to your concerns and address them with the correct treatment.

A course is recommended to get the vital ingredients into the targeted area, these are spaced out according to the area treated, generally three sessions are recommended. It is advised that you then have a top up when you feel like the skin has lost “it’s glow”. Or you could just have a single treatment as a freshen up.
There is an Accumulative Effect…. The more you treat the better you look.
