What is Treatment Stacking?

This term is being branded across Tik Tok and Social Media, but what does its mean?

Well in short this is performing multiple aesthetic treatments in clinic in one session, by combining different treatments we can work on different layers of the skin or treat multiple concerns to improve the end results.

This means that as a  client you have one lot of downtime instead of having multiple different sessions with different downtimes.

The important thing to consider is that your skin is going to be able to cope and will react well to multiple treatments, you shouldn’t just rush into choosing multiple treatments because you know some else who has had it, the combination does need to work for you and your skin. I always have a skin assessment and consultation with new clients which shows me what is going on in the deeper layers of skin, this information is vital when deciding how to treat your skin. We may need to repair the skin’s barrier before we can start on more advanced treatments, but this is all discussed in your consultation where we can come up with a plan to achieve your results.

Some of the combinations I love to perform are Skin needling followed with a peel, a chemical peel followed with specific mesotherapy serums and my ultimate favourite is to add Dermal LED light therapy on most treatments; this alone triggers the ATP, adenosine triphosphate, which is the energy power house needed for all cellular activities, it helps to calm inflammation in the deeper layers of skin, activates the energy that the cells need to repair, renew and regenerate and for acne sufferers we can use the blue light to kill acne-causing bacteria and reduce inflammation.
