CAWSTON MANOR CLINIC WELCOMES NEW TEAM MEMBER
Eminent consultant plastic surgeon Mr Richard Matthews (FRCS) is joining the Warwickshire clinic and will now be practising amidst its leafy and elegant surroundings.
Mr Matthews will provide Consultation on all aspects of cosmetic surgery procedures, including breast augmentation, reduction or uplift, facelifts, liposuction and tummy tucks.
His services are set to complement the existing non-surgical solutions provided at Cawston Manor Clinic and extend the options to clients seeking to restore youth, improve their appearance or enhance their existing beauty.
Mr Matthews has extensive surgical experience both in the private field and within the NHS.
After qualifying as a doctor at St Thomas Hospital Medical School in London, Mr Matthews trained widely in general surgery, orthopaedics, urology and paediatric surgery before commencing his career in plastic surgery.
In the two decades he worked within the NHS in Coventry and Warwickshire he was responsible for radically modernising and expanding plastic surgery services and worked hard to improve standards of care for skin cancer. He continues to treat skin cancer as a special interest, both on the NHS and privately.
Since 2006 Mr Matthews has concentrated mainly on private cosmetic surgery practice and prides himself on being a very ‘hands-on’ doctor.
All consultations, procedures and follow-ups will be carried out by Mr Matthews personally, rather than by nurses or counsellors, which is consistent with Cawston Manor Clinic’s own ethos.
Speaking about his new association, Mr Matthews said: “I am very much looking forward to joining the excellent team at Cawston Manor Clinic and to begin offering a whole new range of services to clients.
“I know the team at Cawston always have the best interests of the patient in mind and that is a tenet I strive to uphold myself, providing a professional, personal and dedicated service.”
